I have been making this recipe for years, typically calling it beet haystacks due to stacking the beet slices on top of each other. For a healthy Valentine’s Day side, I cut the beets out using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
If you don’t like sprouts you can simply omit but they do add to the overall dish.
