In my October issue of EveryDay with Rachael Ray, I saw these fun and spooky pumpkin decorating ideas. I totally planned on making several of these myself but…I went to the store, loaded up on real pumpkins, put them in my trunk and then drove home. When I pulled in the garage I didn’t feel like taking the pumpkins to the front porch or even carrying them into the house so I just lifted them out of the trunk and put them on the garage floor, behind my car. The next day my husband ran to the store and decided to take my car. I didn’t realize he was going to do that and well, you’ve probably guessed what happened next. Yes, he backed up and smashed all my pumpkins. Well, that was about $25 down the drain, or actually, swept up and thrown in the trash. (It was kind of funny.) And to be quite honest, now I don’t feel like replacing them and spending the money again!
But, I had already bought these gloves at the Dollar Tree and I did have this jack-o-lantern display so I did duplicate one of the ideas in the article, which is super cute and doesn’t take that long…especially when you’re not doing any carving!
