For years I have used club soda for treating stains and for me, it works. Back in the day when I had a puppy, I used it even more for all his little “accidents” and again, I thought it worked great and was effective. There is some “controversy” as to if it really has the power to clean and shine with not a lot of scientific research but it’s safe, non-toxic and like I said, it actually does work for me, especially on stains and for a bit of sparkle without a lot of effort.
I have also personally used club soda on my hair for a bit more oomph. (Shampoo as usual, rinse, then pour about a cup of the soda on your hair. Rinse immediately with cool water.) And another personal favorite of mine is using it on my indoor plants, which really perks them up. You do want to use flat, room-temp club soda which is a perfect way to use up that leftover club soda that no one wants to drink since it’s gone flat.
