I love animals. Except for a few years in my 20’s, I have always had at least one fur baby. Most of our family members have pets; from cats and dogs to birds and chickens. Along with horses, reptiles, fish, and at one time, goats. We personally have four cats, with another cat that visits on a regular basis. That means lots of cat boxes, treats, vet visits, and toys. Toys and towers and toys…everywhere. Not to mention lots and lots of hair. But we love them and they love us and I can’t imagine our lives without them.
With food, snacks, toys, and meds, expenses can add up fast. Especially when you have more than one furry family member. (And my philosophy is why have just one when you can have two? Or three? Or more…ha!)
I recently came across this article which includes 17 hacks for pet lovers and I think they are quite clever. From cleaning tips that will cut down on odor and clean stains, to tasty and healthy homemade treats and more, these ideas are simple and affordable. I personally love the DIY cat tree and the dog crate/end table combo idea.
