I admit I am not one of “those people” who likes to clean house. Oh sure, I know there are some who actually find cleaning the house therapeutic but seriously, give me a good book instead. I think I kept my house much cleaner when my child was young and now that it’s just my husband and me, and he certainly doesn’t mind a bit of dust, I just don’t care as much.
When I do clean, I like to use as much DIY cleansers as I can, saving money and staying green. I also like to look for products that can save me time and energy when I do decide to take a swipe at the dust or mop the floor.
Which is what brings me to the list below, a list of 15 cleaning products that supposedly are great for us lazy housekeepers. I haven’t tried any of these products yet but there are a few I will be testing out over the next couple of months. A lot of these items can be found on Amazon for great prices. In fact I think Amazon would be the easiest place to find these because a lot of them aren’t available in your “everyday” neighborhood stores.
For the most part, I found a lot of these seemed practical enough and didn’t cost an arm and a leg, but a few just cracked me up. I mean, the “onesie baby mop” is kind of funny, kind of creepy, and kind of makes me think, well that would work. I don’t know, if I could figure out a way to wrap microfiber cloths around my cat’s feet, that might work too, right? Of course they wouldn’t like it.
I think some of the items, like the oven liners and gas range protectors, would be worth the price, saving me tons of time when I do opt to scrub the kitchen. And they are reusable and reasonably priced.
If you have tried any of these products, we’d love to hear if they really did save you time and were they worth the price you paid?
