Even though I’m not as much of a DIY crafter as I once was, I still enjoy looking at different project ideas and passing them on. My favorite ones to share are those that don’t cost a ton of money and aren’t so complicated that you need a million different supplies and hours in order to make them.
Last year I shared some wine cork projects, with some being so easy and simple, I actually made a few. For some reason, even with me giving them to family and friends or using them in a project, we always seem to have lots (and lots) of wine corks!
If you’re a wine lover and have filled all your decorative bowls and vases with your wine corks and now need something else to use them for, here are some great ideas.
Not a crafty person but want to do something with those wine corks besides tossing? How about making some money with them? Yes, there are people who are actually willing to pay you for them (and for empty wine bottles too.)
Ebay is a great place to sell those corks and bottles, according to Kyle Taylor (The PENNY HOARDER) where you can expect to get about 10 cents per cork and about 50 cents per empty wine bottle, even though you can snag as much as $5.00 for fancier bottles. Here’s some great info from Kyle on how you can sell your corks and bottles with very easy directions on how to start and what to do.
