Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Thank you to the dads who provide love, encouragement, wisdom, friendship and support to their children. Who step up and show their children with words and actions what being a “real man” is truly all about.
On a personal note, I want to include all the men out their who “fill in” as father figures for those who don’t have a dad in their lives, for various reasons.
My son Tyler and I lost (Tyler’s dad, my husband) when Tyler was just 14 due to cancer. I will forever remember and appreciate the men who stepped up to help us during that time, taking Tyler to the movies, fishing, camping, and simply being a male role-model. Thank-you!
And my husband Paul has been a huge blessing in not only my own life but in Tyler’s too. Being there for him when he needs to talk to a male, including him in his life just as he does with his own, biological sons, and just being there for him. I feel truly blessed that not only did Tyler have his own dad who was a loving father when he was younger, but that as he’s grown, there have been many truly good men in his life, who have helped him along the way.

Mark was such a great guy. He is truly missed. I was going thru old photos for the girls graduation and it just flooded us with memories of our family. I remember Christmas at your house and Mark was always so sweet to my girls. He would cut up and play with them to make them laugh. I also found some of the “murder mystery” night we had at your place. Loads of fun!!
