I didn’t know that 90% of a child’s brain capacity develops before age 5! Thanks Priscilla (from Early-childhood-education-degrees.com) for this interesting and informative article. Having a four-year old grandson, I was not surprised to read that a four-year old has a brain twice as active as an adult. Believe me, he’s 10 thoughts ahead of me while I’m trying to answer his first question!
For anyone with young children or grandkids, this is a really good article. And of course, don’t freak out if your child differs a bit from this chart. If you have any concerns about your child’s development, check with your pediatrician.
