Whether you’re a busy mom or working woman, being on the go all the time can stress you out, make you tired, and even cause physical symptoms. It’s hard on your brain and body, and for me, I can get cranky. Taking time out to relax is important, regardless if you are a morning, afternoon or evening person. Not everyone relaxes the same way though. For some, getting a massage can help you feel relaxed and ease your mind. For me, getting a massage causes me more stress because it’s just not something I enjoy. And if you’re busy, you might not have time for a massage! I know a book, warm bath and glass of wine will instantly make me feel better (in the evening of course!)
Finding ways, no matter how small or short of a time period you have, to take a deep breath and relax can help you feel more alert, energetic and capable of what the day brings.
