Ulta beauty stores has a great sale going on right now. (Sale ends Saturday, July 21st). I have personally tried out 95% of the products listed below and love all of them. This is a great time to stock up on favorites or try some new products. Everything is priced from $1.00-$5.00….huge savings! If you don’t have an Ulta store near you, you can always order online. And just fyi…I do not promote or “plug” items because I have any “deals” with stores or get free things. These are items I try, think are bargain buys and think you will enjoy. AND if you do decide to try out any of these items, which I think you’ll like, and want to order online, there’s free shipping with orders of $25 or more. Use the code 84787 when ordering.
Liners
LOVE these automatic eye liners and lip liners! You don’t have to sharpen them, they are long-lasting and the colors are fabulous! And right now they are on sale for….$1.00! Seriously, $1.00 (normally $8.oo) and they are also smudgeproof and waterproof. The eye pencil comes in eleven different colors (I really like the charcoal and indigo) and the lip pencil comes in four colors (my favorite is the flesh).
Eyeshadow
I have about twelve different shades of this Ulta eyeshadow that’s on sale for $2.00 (normally $7.00). It comes in 90 shades and you can choose from shimmer, matte, and glitter finishes. I like the matte (it’s kinder to older eyes) and wear the bone shade almost every day. One of the things I like best about this eye shadow is that it lasts and doesn’t crease. I have to admit there’s been a few nights I haven’ taken off my make-up and woke up the next day with my eyes looking pretty good. Doesn’t happen often but….
Lipstick
I always have at least one of these lipsticks in my purse. Lately I’ve been using one in the shade of “In the Buff”, which I like because it’s neutral, sheer, and I can wear it with anything. And because I go heavier with my eye makeup, I prefer to go more neutral with my lips and cheeks. Their Ulta lipstick comes in 48 shades with your choice of a cream, shimmer or sheer finish. They are on sale for $2.00 (normally $8.00) so you’re getting a real bargain at this sale price. The sheer finishes are great for a fresh day look in the summer. And at $2.00 a tube, you can buy more than one!
Nail Polish
I think nail polish is an easy and inexpensive way to change-up a look. If you enjoy the trendy colors that come out each season but don’t want to invest in new colors in your wardrobe that may not be “hot”, the following season, try the current colors with your nail polish. These nail lacquers (polishes) are on sale for $2.00 and come in over 70 colors so you’re sure to find one that looks great on you. I like that it dries quickly and doesn’t chip. I hardly ever wear color on my fingers but my toes have been looking very fashionable lately….and at only $2.00.
Blush
For $3.00, you have your choice of four different types of blush to choose from: a mousse blush, a pressed mineral blush, cheek stain or a silky powder cheek color. The cheek color comes in eleven different shades (I like Afternoon Delight) and goes on smoothly and doesn’t streak. I think Ulta does a great job with all the different shades (for all their products) you can choose from, which makes it super easy to find the right colors for your complexion.
Oil-Free Makeup Remover
I have used this oil free eye makeup remover in the past (now I use olive oil to remove my makeup) and like that it’s oil free and removes waterproof mascara quickly and easily without a lot of tugging or pulling (not good for the delicate eye area). It’s on sale for $4.00 and it really works.
Lip Gloss
Also on sale for $4.00 is Ulta’s super shiny lip glosses, in fourteen shades. These have lots of shine with a sheer finish. Typically I wear the shade in Natural but just picked up the Poppy color and will wear it when I go lighter with my eyeshadow…sometimes when I’m running errands with no makeup on (hope you don’t see me then!), a pop of color on the lips makes me feel a little less “naked”.
Powder Foundation
I have a lot of girlfriends who use this mineral powder foundation and swear by it…it’s normally $14.00 but it’s on sale for $5.00 right now, not a bad price for foundation. It comes in six shades and a couple of my friends told me they own two shades and mix it for an even more close match to their coloring.
Foundation Primer
This is one of my favorite Ulta products. It’s a foundation primer and if you’ve never tried a primer before, now is a great time to try it while it’s on sale for $5.00 (normally $12.50). Primers help your foundations go on smoother and last longer. This helps reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. I use it every time I wear foundation.
Mascara
I’m always searching for the best mascara for my short, thin, eyelashes. Since beginning our site I have tried mascara from the Dollar Tree (for $1.00 which worked ok) to mascara that cost over $20.00 (Benefit “They’re Real” mascara), which I loved but not the price. So when I saw this mascara on sale for $5.00 (normally $10.00), I had to try it. And it’s great! I really like the curved brush on this Show Stopper Lash mascara and not only did it lengthen my lashes, it also made them look thicker. I liked this so much that I’m going back for another tube…and while I’m there, I’ll HAVE to stock up on a few (lots) other items…at these prices, I have to!
So much beauty, so little cost!
This is just a small example of Ulta products on sale for $1.00 to $5.00. Check out some of the other products….lots of other eye shadows, blushes, foundations and more….
