Our thrift store makeovers have been so successful and it’s been great fun meeting new women and helping them pick out a “new” outfit (that looks fabulous on them) for next to nothing. I think we’ve shown that it doesn’t matter your age, height or body shape…you CAN find something that fits, is inexpensive and in a lot of cases, has an “expensive” label inside. So…..we’re announcing our newest thrift store fashion makeover contest!
In the past, we found Megan a Vera Wang dress, belt and great chunky turquoise necklace all for $13.94. Christine found an “All That Jazz” dress, necklace and Antonio Melani shoes (in perfect condition) for $15.97. And for Michele we were able to pull an entire outfit together for $13.06 which included Ann Taylor pants, a Karen Scott sleeveless blouse, Chaps cardigan, necklace and Life Stride pumps…again, ALL of that for $13.06! And I feel confident we can find our next winner something equally fashionable, fitting and comfortable for around $15.00.
The contest begins today, Sunday, April 22nd and will run through Sunday, May 6th….we’ll announce our winner on Monday, May 7th.
*We do ask that you give us permission to use your photo in our makeover story.
I’m looking forward to announcing our newest winner, meeting her and finding a “new” great outfit! Good luck.

I have two young sons, and it is always about the boys. I want a girl’s day out and feel like a lady again.

I can tell you where every thrif shop in town is, there sale days and the best ones to go to for certain things. Everytime I tell my daughter I want something and am headed to the thrift store to find it. I never fail to find what I”m looking for. She just shakes her head and laughs.

Kelly, I live out of town, ( 2hrs ) and am unfamiliar with all of the thrift shops are. Would you be willing to share info with me?

I was thrifting before thrifting was cool!! However, a person only needs so much so now I shop for others. People tell me what they are looking for and off I go! I would like someone to shop for me now…I could use a different perspective on clothes and break out of my own comfort zone. Yes, I would like that very much!

I absolutely LOVE thrift store shopping and have since I was a kid! Finding great fashions at fabulous prices is so much fun 🙂 I love to help others find their thrift store treasures also! I know I always have more to learn from others who share my passion.

This day and age , who can afford full priced clothing, especially if they are raising a family? I would love to win for my daughter who is a newly single mother and taking her pre-reqs for nursing school. She definitely deserves a “new” outfit since she is at the bottom of her list of things to do. thank you for offering this reward.
